Thank you for visiting the website of the Department of History. With more than 800 undergraduates and approximately 150 postgraduates the department is one of the principal centres for the teaching and research of History in Ireland. The department has a complement of eighteen academic and two administrative staff, in addition to occasional lecturers and a team of tutors.
