Publication of the research work of staff and students is a prime concern of the department. This page is intended to facilitate access to lists of published work from the department. The research of each member of staff is listed with her/his main entry. The Local History series (edited by Professor Raymond Gillespie) is based on the work of MA in Local History students. The same programme generated the Maynooth Research Guides (edited by Professor Marian Lyons). Also listed are monographs based on major theses completed in the department, or on the work of postdoctoral fellows in the department, published since 1989.
